UPDATE 2- Blackwood grower in New Zealand looking for markets

The alternative title for this blog should be “The Failure of Timber Markets”.

And here is another update from NZ:

Dad just dropped a few trees to clear way for the milling pad. There is the heartwood.

Guess we will be milling as its too high a percentage to burn..

Regards Jamie.

In a few years time Australia will be importing Tasmanian blackwood timber from New Zealand farmers. All I can say is good luck to New Zealand farmers, because Australian/Tasmanian farmers couldn’t care less.

That photo is just outstanding. Premium grade Tasmanian blackwood grown by New Zealand farmers.

In the forestry world cup: New Zealand 20, Australia 0.

Kirsha Kaechele hasn’t got a clue!! Seriously!!
